We are committed to not profiting from the harm of others. We will not sell books that promote discrimination, hate, harm, or lies about a person's humanity or group of people. We are grateful for customers who choose to order through us instead of from larger retailers or online conglomerates. While we are happy to accommodate special orders for books that don't align with our particular ideology, we will not place special orders for books that promote hate, harm, or lies. For special orders that do not align with our values but do not promote hate, harm, or lies, we will donate money to a cause that aligns with our values to offset that profit.
Owning a business in North America means benefiting from the historical injustices suffered by Native Americans and the legacy of racism against enslaved people. As a result, we are committed to donating a portion of our profits to Native communities or organizations, as well as to organizations that combat systemic racism.
