We are committed to not profiting from the harm of others. We will not sell books that promote discrimination, hate, harm, or lies about a person's humanity or group of people.
Owning a business in North America means benefiting from the historical injustices suffered by Native Americans and the legacy of racism against enslaved people. As a result, we are committed to donating a portion of our profits to Native communities or organizations, as well as to organizations that combat systemic racism.
We hope to be a place for community. Whether it's providing discounts for local schools, donating to local organizations, offering gathering spaces for author events, or simply providing a comfortable place to sit and chat with friends, family or visitors. There is both power and peace when we're in community with one another.
We will intentionally and thoughtfully curate books that local shoppers and visitors to Bath will love, but if we don't have what you're looking for, we will gladly order it if we can.
